Boring banks? Miss Warren could be right

Today over at NAWRB the folks there blogged about comments Elizabeth Warren made about "banking should be boring". Currently, Warren is running for a US Senate seat and she's calling for a new Glass-Steagall Act. If you remember, that post-Depression legislation is what created the two types of major banks: depository institutions and investment banks. Increasingly blurred lines between the two since the 1990s could be what got us in such a mess today.
