Founded by Desirée Patno, a long-time Southern California real estate broker, DPE has offices in Orange County and the Inland Empire, a suburban region east of metro Los Angeles. Since its founding, DPE has grown into a sizeable organization to accommodate the expansion of new clients and industry demands, handling over 5,000 transactions in its REO division alone. DPE uses a proprietary property information management system, CityServ, and emphasis paperless, high-tech systems in its day-to-day operations.
In 2012, DPE President & CEO Desirée Patno was awarded the Enterprising Woman of the Year award for a women-owned business with revenue between $1 and $5 million in sales as well as the Business Leadership Social Media award from Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP) for her work through the National Association of Women REO Brokerages (NAWRB). In September 2012 Patno was recognized in HousingWire's second annual Influential Women in the Housing Economy special issue.
